The Band
Six White Cadillacs formed in 2020 in response to a growing need for a cruisy surf-folk-metal-alt-bluegrass-bebop-blues and greens band in the Auckland area. Enigmatic Slovakian guitar virtuoso Lubos Majer and kiwi songwriter Mac McKay had been writing and recording together for a while but in the finest rock and roll tradition decided to take it live to the people. Hitch your wagon to the Caddies for a genre-bending trip down the highways and cul-de-sacs of their musical landscape.

THE CADDIES
Six White Cadillacs is a shared musical vision of kiwi songwriter Mac McKay and Slovakian emigre Lubos Majer. Their self-penned songs range from love songs like "Seven Sorrows" and "Desert Island"Â to protest songs "All for Jan" about the assassination of journalist Jan Kuciak, and "Summer Circles" about climate change - which when you think about it is also a nostalgic love-song to our beautiful planet.
